Welcome to Krakow
GECKO Media was invited to produce the film and the postproduction of the program ”Welcome to Krakow” in July 2007.
For the company BeWitch, we formatted and assembled 11 episodes of ”Welcome to Krakow” which were broadcast weekly on TVP3. Moreover, we created an intro of the program whose “news” character foreshadows the ambience of the program.
”Welcome to Krakow” is a cultural-journalistic-entertainment program. The program aims at foreigners living in Małopolska and tourists visiting it. However, it is also for Polish viewers who wish to brush up their English language skills. The narrators or/and hosts are foreigners fluent in English. Therefore it is a program showing our cultural events, cities and the history from a slightly different point of view.
